Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the TikActions Windows desktop application, TikActions websites, account services, cloud synchronization, action sharing and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The TikActions Service

TikActions is a Windows creator-automation application that lets users create configurable rules and connect supported events with actions in tools and environments they control. Depending on configuration, features may include cloud action profiles, share codes, Minecraft/ServerTap commands, OBS controls, webhooks, sounds and other creator workflow functions.

Features may change over time as TikActions, TikTok, third-party integrations and operating systems evolve.

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to agree to these Terms and must satisfy the minimum age requirements that apply to your use of TikTok and any other connected service. If local law requires parental or guardian authorization, you may use TikActions only with that authorization.

3. TikActions accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your TikActions account and authorized devices. You must provide accurate information where requested and must not share account credentials in a way that enables unauthorized use.

An account may be subject to a device limit, access period, plan, license state or other account controls. Circumventing account restrictions, device limits or security measures is prohibited.

4. Sign in with TikTok

TikActions may offer TikTok Login Kit as a sign-in and account-association method. When you choose “Continue with TikTok”, you are redirected to TikTok's official authorization experience. TikActions requests the permissions displayed to you by TikTok and uses authorized basic profile information to identify and associate your TikTok identity with a TikActions account.

TikActions does not ask you to provide your TikTok password to TikActions. Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own terms, community rules and privacy practices.

TikActions is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official product of TikTok.

5. Automation rules and user responsibility

You control the rules, commands, URLs, integrations and actions that you configure. You are responsible for reviewing and testing your rules and for the effects that they produce on your devices, games, servers, OBS scenes, webhook destinations and other connected services.

You must not use TikActions to facilitate unlawful activity, harassment, fraud, spam, unauthorized access, platform abuse, malicious code, attacks on services, or violations of the rights of others.

6. Cloud actions and share codes

When cloud action synchronization is enabled, TikActions may store your rule configuration under your account. A TK share code represents a snapshot of actions made available for import. Anyone who has a valid share code may be able to import that snapshot.

You are responsible for checking that a rule does not contain information you do not want to share before generating or distributing a share code. Do not publish secrets, passwords, private authentication keys or confidential webhook endpoints in shareable rules.

Importing a rule created by another user does not guarantee that the rule is safe or appropriate for your environment. Review imported rules before using them.

7. Third-party integrations

TikActions may interoperate with services and software supplied by third parties, including TikTok, OBS, Minecraft server software, ServerTap, webhook services or online media providers. Third-party services are not controlled by TikActions and may change, limit or discontinue functionality at any time.

You are responsible for complying with the rules, licenses and terms that apply to every third-party service you connect. TikActions cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility with third-party services.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights;
• bypass or attempt to defeat authentication, licensing, device or access controls;
• probe, attack, overload or disrupt TikActions infrastructure or another user's systems;
• use TikActions to automate deceptive, fraudulent, abusive or spam behavior;
• distribute malware or intentionally harmful automation through share codes;
• misrepresent TikActions as an official TikTok product or misuse third-party trademarks; or
• use TikTok integrations in a way that violates TikTok's applicable terms, policies or developer requirements.

9. Updates and service changes

TikActions may provide automatic or required software updates for security, compatibility, bug fixes and new functionality. Certain versions may become unsupported. Continued access to cloud services may require installation of a minimum supported version.

10. Availability

We aim to keep TikActions available and functional, but we do not promise that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, infrastructure issues, third-party changes, network failures or platform restrictions may affect the Service.

11. Intellectual property

TikActions software, branding, interface, website content and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted to you to use the Service, no ownership rights are transferred under these Terms.

Third-party names and trademarks, including TikTok, OBS and Minecraft-related marks, belong to their respective owners.

12. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in the TikActions Privacy Policy. By using third-party integrations, you may also be subject to the privacy practices of those third parties.

13. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access to the Service where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, violation of these Terms, legal compliance, misuse of integrations or protection of TikActions and its users. You may stop using TikActions at any time and may request account-data deletion through our privacy contact.

14. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. TikActions does not guarantee that a particular automation, third-party integration or platform behavior will remain compatible forever. You should test automations and maintain appropriate backups and safeguards for systems you control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TikActions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses caused by user-configured automation, third-party service outages, unauthorized use caused by failure to protect credentials, or changes made by third-party platforms. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence. Where mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, these Terms do not remove that right.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, integrations, security requirements or law. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Where appropriate, material changes may also be communicated through the application or website.
